Douglas Costa’s days at Juventus might be numbered since the Brazilian winger is no longer part of Max Allegri’s Best XI anymore. And with that in mind, the former Bayern Munich star is ready to ply his trade elsewhere next season.
There should be a lot of competition for his services since Costa, when at his best, can be one of the most dynamic wingers in Europe. Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly entered the race to sign him, but they will have to compete with both Manchester City and Manchester United, according to a report from CalcioMercato.
The two Premier League giants have had plenty of interest in Costa since quite a while and, considering how well Lucas Moura has adapted to England, Costa could end up being much better. He is more than qualified to be a difference maker on both England’s and France’s top-flight.
Costa has managed just one goal in 17 appearances since signing permanently for Juventus. Even though his season has been plagued by injuries, he still has enough quality to continue playing at the top if he leaves Juventus. And considering the circunstances, he will have to make an informed choice this summer because he needs to go to a team where he will ne given enough playing time.
And clearly, that’s not the case with Juventus anymore.
