Juventus and Manchester United are in talks over a deal for striker Anthony Martial to move to Turin, claims talkSPORT.

The France international finds himself increasingly out of favour with United boss Jose Mourinho and is keen to reignite his career.

After becoming the most expensive teenager in world footballer when he moved to Old Trafford, Martial is finding it impossible to hold down a regular place in the United starting line-up.

Of his 40 club appearances this season, 19 have come from the bench. Despite almost exclusively being used a wide attacker, Martial has managed 12 goals this season but hasn’t scored in the past eight games.

He breathed a huge sigh of relief at being called up by Didier Deschamps for the recent friendly internationals, registering 56 minutes of France’s impressive 3 – 1 win in Russia.

Martial’s contract expires in 2019 with United having little chance of recouping all the £36m paid to Monaco three years ago. That deal could rise to £58m with bonuses but Juventus are looking to steal away the striker for less than £20m.

Both clubs are keen for the deal to be signed before the start of the World Cup finals when Martial hopes to be away with France.
