Cavani Set To Lead Massive PSG Exodus This Summer

PSG are set to capture another Ligue 1 title in the coming weeks, but there is no question this season will be labelled as a disappointment for the French giants due to their early exit in the UEFA Champions League.

Due to the Round-of-16 elimination in the Champions League against Real Madrid, the PSG directors have decided to do what they have always done: spend more and more money to sign more, better players. But this time they are also open to several departures in the summer, and one surprising headlines the lines.

We are talking about Uruguay international Edinson Cavani, who’s all but set to leave PSG this summer. The former Napoli star has grown uncomfortable with the team’s performance, and apparently he doesn’t want to play alongside Neymar anynore so he would be open to an exit.

Cavani wouldn’t be the only notable player leaving the squad in the coming months, however, as Javier Pastore, Adrien Rabiot and Angel Di Maria are other players whose future at PSG is highly uncertain, according to the reports.

Cavani’s name certainly stands out, though. He’s only 31 and has already scored 163 goals for PSG, making him the team’s all-time leading scorer. The fact that he is on his prime and under contract until 2020 makes him quite valuable, so perhaps PSG should re-consider their idea of parting ways with their top scorer.
