Real Madrid Not Keen To Part Ways With Isco

As it has been a trend during the past few years, once again Isco has settled as one of the hottest commodities in the upcoming transfer market. And once again it happened due to the same reasons, as he has been thriving for Spain but barely plays for Real Madrid.

This time, the former Malaga star and current Spain international has been heavily linked with an exit from the Santiago Bernabeu outfit. After impressing last season and settling as a starter, Isco lost his starting spot and has been in and out of the team in recent weeks. Manchester City are believed to be ready to pounce on that, and are keen to prepare a bid for the 25-year-old.

In fact, recent reports have indicated that The Citizens are reportedly planning a £75 million bid to add some much-needed young blood to the team’s midfield. Pep Guardiola’s idea would be to transform Isco as David Silva – who turned 32 in January – long-term replacement at the Etihad Stadium.

Isco has said time and time again that he wants to stay at Real Madrid, but it is not a secret that he would like to have a defined role for the near future. He even said that he feels more trust “from the Spain coaching staff instead of Madrid”, and Real Madrid’s manager Zinedine Zidane replied saying that he understands Isco’s frustrations, but at the same time he admitted the club is not keen to part ways with him.

It will be interesting to see whether Madrid uses Isco more, or if the Spain international decides to leave the club at the first offer he receives. The club does not want to part ways with him, but it is not a secret that Isco will probably consider his options if things do not change soon.
