AC Milan might have been hit with a ban that prevents them from playing in the UEFA Europa League next season, and that could create a massive exodus on the team. However, that won’t stop them from trying to bolster the side ahead of the 2018-19 season.
One of the names that could join the side in the coming days is none other than Alen Halilovic, a talented attacking midfielder who spent last season playing for UD Las Palmas in the Spanish La Liga.
The 22-year-old Hamburg star has not been able to live up to expectations throughout his career. He came out of Dinamo Zagreb’s youth ranks and joined FC Barcelona, but never had a single chance to play for the Camp Nou outfit. Now he will look to re-launch his career playing for one of the biggest sides in Europe.
In fact, Halilovic is said to have secretly arrived in Italy on Thursday morning to undergo medical checks and sign a deal with Rossoneri. A report from Sky Italia claimed that Halilovic has been presented with a three-year contract offer.
Based on the latest reports, all signs indicate that Halilovic will become Milan’s first official signing ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
