Solanke is growing frustrated with a lack of first team football and wants to move in the summer, with Arsenal his preferred destination.
Chelsea are preparing to offer him a bumper new deal of £50,000 a week to stay at the club. However the player has indicated he will only re-sign if he is given assurances over appearances.
Solanke’s hand has been strengthened with Arsenals interest, however the Gunners will not match Chelsea’s wage offer.
It will now be down to the player to decide over more first team football at Arsenal or the greater pay day at Chelsea.
