Inter Milan are everywhere in transfer rumours, as they are set to sign a central midfielder and potentially another player or two. But this time we talk about the player that might leave the club from Giuseppe Meazza for good.
Gabriel Barbosa has been linked with a move away from Inter Milan for months now and after his heroics in Copa Libertadores final against River Plate, the Brazilian could be sold for a lot more money than it was previously believed.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter will nearly double the asking price they had for Gabigol, after he scored twice in the dying seconds on Saturday to win the trophy for Flamengo, their first Libertadores trophy in 38 years. Inter’s asking price is expected to rise up to €35-40m for the loaned striker. Previously, around €22m would have been enough to make a permanent move, but Inter could now make a lot more money.
