Arsenal will look to take advantage of Newcastle United‘s relegation from the Premier League and bid for midfielder Moussa Sissoko, 25.
The Gunners will bid £15m to bring the French international to the Emirates, as manager Arsene Wenger looks to reshape his squad for next season.
Despite Newcastle’s relegation Sissoko has impressed scouts and caught the eye of a host of Europe’s top clubs. However it is believed the player would prefer to stay in England with Arsenal his first choice.
Wenger will look to play Sissoko alongside incoming midfielder Granit Xhaka, 23, bolstering the center of his team and addressing the “lightweight midfield” criticism he has received over the years.
