Neymar Reportedly Agrees To Personal Terms With PSG

Neymar has taken a huge step towards leaving FC Barcelona and joining PSG this summer.

The Brazilian winger has been rumoured with a potential move to the Ligue 1 giants for days, and things have escalated pretty quickly. In fact, Barcelona were reluctant to even negotiate at first, but considering Neymar’s interest in leaving and the fact that PSG were willing to meet Neymar’s €222 million buyout clause, Los Blaugranas had nothing to do but accepting the offer.

And it turns out Neymar is reportedly on the verge of completing the move. After Barcelona gave him permission to discuss terms with PSG, the club and the star winger quickly agreed to terms on their contract. Neymar and his father, who has been quite involved in the transfer discussions over the past few days, reportedly agreed to a massive contract that would last a minumum of four years.

If the 25-year-old ends up in Paris, he will be earning approximately €30M a year after taxes. He would also receive an astronomic signing on fee, making him one of the richest football players in the world.

French newspaper Le Parisien recently reported that Neymar has already told some of his teammates that he’s leaving for PSG this summer. And even though he remains in the US for Barca’s preseason tour, all signs indicate the star winger is departing to France sooner than later.
