Higuain Unlikely To Be Signed By Chelsea On A Permanent Basis


There was a lot of talk about Gonzalo Higuaín in the past year. First it was whether he will leave Juventus last summer and then whether he was going to leave AC Milan in January. And just two months after he moved to Chelsea on another loan, the stories around the striker are not slowing down.

Now it is Tuttosport reporting that Chelsea are unlikely to sign Higuaín on a permanent deal during this summer transfer window. The Argentine has not been able to find his form since arriving at Stamford Bridge and without consistency in his game, it is hard seeing Blues actually signing him.

Another problem here is that Chelsea are going to be banned from signing players in the next two transfer windows, although that could be moved up for the whole of 2020, instead of summer of 2019 and January 2020. Higuaín did not find his old self under Maurizio Sarri and now there is even a great possibility of the Italian leaving the club…
