Liverpool Waste No Time in Picking Over the Bones of Wolves

According to talkSPORT, Liverpool are already picking over newly-promoted Wolverhampton Wanderers squad with Ruben Neves the target.

Jurgen Klopp is, according to Merseyside journalist Marcus Alves, admires the 21-year-old and sees him filling the gap left by Philippe Coutinho’s departure to Barcelona during the January transfer window.

A string of outstanding performances as Wolves stormed to promotion and remaining on course to be crowned champions. He became an internet sensation with a trademark long-range strike during the recent win over Derby County at Molineux.

Wolves are preparing for Neves’ departure. Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca, 24, is the latest Portugal-based player to benefit from the Black Country club’s relationship with Jorge Medes.

Talisca is currently on loan at Besiktas for the second season after making 76 appearances for the Eagles. He made sure the Lisbon giants didn’t forget about him by scoring when the two sides met in the Estadio da Luz in this season’s Champions League.

Its form he hopes will be enough to earn his first cap for Brazil, having dropped out of contention since being called into the senior squad in 2014. Tite drafted Talisca during the last international break although he didn’t make an appearance during either of the friendlies against Turkey or Austria.
