CSKA Moscow are resigned to losing midfield prodigy Aleksandr Golovin this summer and named their price according to Calciomercato.
The Muscovites hope he has a spectacular World Cup finals to generate more interest in him but are understood to be prepared to let their maestro leave for a fee upwards of €25m. In the current market, that could prove to be a bargain for a player who, at the age of 22, has more than 110 club appearances to his name.
Last season was his most productive in front of goal, scoring seven times with six assists.
Arsenal and Juventus are currently the two leading clubs keeping an eye on the midfielder’s situation. Both are exploring their midfield options at present with the Gunners looking to bolster their squad by signing €25m-rated Sampdoria star Lucas Torreira, 22.
The Bianconeri are also preparing to offer Jack Wilshere, 25, a deal should he fail to renew his contract at Arsenal. His current deal expires on 30th June and despite press comment that he wants to stay in north London, there’s no sign of his time at the club being extended.
Golovin is currently with the Russia 2018 World Cup finals squad and expected to add to his current tally of 19 caps.
