Pablo Fornals could be on his way out of Villarreal once the current season comes to an end.

The talented playmaker is enjoying a stellar season with Villarreal, and other sides in the continent are beginning to take notice of his play and he would potentially fit, either in a more competitive team or a more competitive environment. And two teams that have began to question a potential move are Arsenal and Tottenham.

Both Premier League giants are keen to make a move for the Spain international, who can thrive both as a central midfielder or as an attacking midfielder in mostly every system. But these two London-based side are not alone in Fornals pursuit. According to a report from the Daily Express, Napoli are keen as well.

However, the Serie A giants aren’t as interested as Arsenal, who are said to be leading the race to sign him, or Tottenham, who view Fornals as a potential long-term replacement for Christian Eriksen, who might leave the club this upcoming summer.

Fornals has scored four goals and added five assists in 39 appearances this season for a dysfunctional Villarreal side which is still in a tough battle to stay in La Liga.
