Juventus already bolster one of the deadliest attacking units in the world. The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo did nothing but solidify an already impressive line that had the likes of Douglas Costa, Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado and Federico Bernardeschi, among others.

However, the reigning Serie A champions are not done on their pursuit to bolster their front line. And based on reports coming out of Italy, the Italian giants Juventus are interested in bringing Timo Werner to The Old Lady. The potential arrival of Werner would make him the long-term replacement of Mario Mandzukic, who is already 32 years old and could leave the club soon.

Meanwhile, Werner is only 22 years old and is already considered as one of the best young strikers in Europe. He is under contract with RB Leipzig until the end of the 2020 season, however, so bringing him won’t be easy – or cheap – but Juventus are confident they can get it done. Especially if Werner refuses to extend his contract, which would force Leipzig to part ways with the Germany international.

Werner is coming off another stellar season with RB Leipzig after netting 21 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions in the 2017/18 campaign, although he is yet to score during the current term (four games between Bundesliga and Europa League). He has also won 18 caps with Die Mannschaft, scoring eight times.
