Arsenal are looking to add at least one new striker to their forward line this summer and have identified AZ Alkmaar’s young forward Vincent Janssen, 21, as a potential signing.
Janssen has been in impressive form for AZ, netting 26 goals in 33 appearances in the Dutch league Eredivisie. He has also debuted on the international stage for Holland this season, scoring and assisting in the friendly game against England at Wembley.
Arsene Wenger has sent several scouts over to watch Janssen this season, and has been impressed with the strikers reports.
It is thought that the player would be available for around £16m, and that Janssen is extremely interested in a move to the Premier League.
