Nemanja Matic to leave Chelsea, agrees Juventus deal

Nemanja Matic, 27, is set to leave Chelsea for the second time in his career this summer after agreeing a deal in principle with Serie A champions Juventus.

Matic was brought back to the Bridge in 2014 from Benfica, after an impressive tittle winning season in his first season, his form has dropped significantly this campaign.

This dip in form has not put off admirers, with a host of European clubs registering an interest in signing Matic this summer. However it is Juventus who have secured the Serbian, agreeing personal terms subject to transfer fee with Chelsea.

Juventus have acted quickly as they expect to lose prize asset Paul Pogba this summer to either Real Madrid or Manchester City, and see Matic as an ideal replacement.
