Arsenal have been linked with a plethora of top players ahead of the January transfer window, but considering the side is riding high at the moment, don’t be surprised if the North London giants decide to push any potential signings towards the end of the season.

And with that in mind, Arsenal have reportedly made Lille winger Nicolas Pepe their top priority ahead of the transfer period. Recent reports have indicated they could submit an offer during the January transfer window, but it’s unlikely that Lille will part ways with their star player given their position on the standings.

There’s no question the 23-year-old Ivorian winger would become a quality addition for the Gunners, though. His ability to play all over the attacking third, his pace, and his keen eye for goal would translate well to the English Premier League. He could form a deadly attacking trio next to Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Pepe has generated plenty of interest from across the European continent, though. Barcelona are keeping a close tab on him, while other Premier League sides – mainly Liverpool and Manchester City – have also said to be interested on the 23-year-old. Arsenal, however, are seen as front-runners for his signature.

The talented winger has so far scored nine goals in 15 games this season.
