One of the most active teams in the world when it comes to sign young talent from all over the world, FC Barcelona are reportedly tracking the development of 16-year-old Naci Unuvar, according to Sport.

The talented attacking midfielder currently plays for Ajax U-17 side, and is also featuring for the Netherlands in the U17 World Cup in Brazil. Barca have sent plenty of scouts to the tournament, and Unuvar has been one of the standout players thus far.

However, don’t think Unuvar will be thinking about a potential switch to the Camp Nou side. Despite being only 16 years old, the attacking midfielder already said he is focused at both Ajax and the World Cup. He’s not thinking about a potential move away from the Eredivisie giants.

The La Liga champions’ interest was first aroused when the young attacking midfielder scored twice in the first game ever played at the Johann Cruyff Arena, earning Ajax’s U-19 side a 2-0 win over their Barcelona counterparts.

One of Unuvar’s biggest traits is his versatility. He can play as a classic n°10, but he is also extremely effective when deployed as a winger. Barcelona will undoubtedly try to make another move for him next season, as they consider him to be one of the biggest prospects in Europe.
