Atletico Madrid are doing well without Diego Costa so far. The striker they wanted so bad to return to the club is not performing since his arrival from Chelsea and now there are reports suggesting the Brazilian forward with Spanish passport could be leaving the club.
According to AS, Costa could be heading out of Atletico Madrid and moving to Qatar. Allegedly, Qatari club Al Rayyan are interested in him and are prepared to do whatever it takes to sign the experienced striker. They are extremely keen on getting the deal done and they will not care too much when the deal will happen.
AS are reporting that Al Rayyan will want to get Costa this January, but if that proves to be impossible, they will be ready to wait until the summer of 2020 to get him. Atletico are probably not going to be ready to let Costa leave midway through the season, no matter his form, especially as the only forward choices left at the club would be Joao Felix, Alvaro Morata and Ivan Saponjic.
