The 18-year-old Belgian goalkeeper Mile Svilar is set to be loaned out of Benfica at the end of the season.
The talented shot-stopper who also holds a Serbian citizenship and is likely to represent his father’s homeland in the future will be given a chance to gain valuable first team experience outside the Estadio da Luz following a highly erratic season with the Portuguese giants.
Svilar was given a chance to shine for Eagles this term but he largely failed to clinch a regular starting berth due to some costly errors.
The youngster did shoe plenty of promise however and will now be given an opportunity to develop into a confident goalkeeper away from Benfica, according to Abola.
Svilar made three Primeira Liga appearances this season, while he also featured in three Champions League matches for his team.
