Juventus have an unbelieveable amount of depth on the attacking end. Even if we don’t consider the likes of Paulo Dybala and Cristiano Ronaldo, The Old Lady have other talented players such as Douglas Costa, Juan Cuadrado, Mario Mandzukic and Federico Bernardeschi to occupy the attacking roles.
However, they’re not done when it comes to adding attacking pieces, and recent rumours have indicated that the Serie A giants are keen to make an approach for Bayern Munich playmaker – and Colombia international – James Rodriguez, who is currently unsettled and struggling to find playing time with the German giants.
Juventus’ plan would be quite clear: they are keen to reunite James with Ronaldo, in an effort to re-create the partnership that both players had at Real Madrid until the 2016-17 season. However, one big stepping stone for this move would be the presence of Los Merengues, since James is entering the final months of his two-year loan at Bayern from Real Madrid. As such, his immediate future is far from being solved.
Super-agent Jorge Mendes, who played a huge role in the arrival of CR7 to Juventus, could once again play a role here. And considering his influences, don’t be surprised if we end up seeing the Colombian star playing for Juve sooner than later.
