There have been lots of rumours regarding the future of Napoli’s star forward Lorenzo Insigne and according to a report from local outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side have already set the asking price for the winger.
Both Liverpool and Chelsea have been tracking down the Italy international over the past 12 months, but Napoli have not backed down on their demands and they have insisted they are not going to part ways with their star for anything less than €90million.
Insigne came through the club’s youth ranks and even though he went through three different loan spells throughout his career, the 27-year-old has spent his entire career with the Partenopei side, scoring 71 goals in 273 games with the club while also becoming an icon and one of the most important players on the side. He has taken a huge step forward this season, and even scored against Liverpool in the Champions League earlier this term.
This isn’t the first time Insigne is being linked with a Premier League move, though, as Manchester United were also linked with a move for him in the past. Right now, both The Reds and The Blues have emerged as favourites to land the coveted forward. Will he make the move to England this time around?
