AC Milan were one of the most active teams in the transfer market this past summer. But they did not start the season as most experts believed, and are already tracking the market to add reinforcements ahead of 2018.
And one of the players that could land at San Siro is no other than David Silva. The former Valencia star currently plays for Manchester City and has been one of the best playmakers in the Premier League over the past few years, but could be tempted to play elsewhere.
In fact, reports have mentioned that the Spaniard is “tempted” by the interest from AC Milan despite Manchester City being eager to extend his contract.
One of the reasons why Silva might want to leave is the presence of other playmakers in City’s squad, such as Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva. It might be time to pack his bags and leave for a new adventure after a relatively long period at the Etihad Stadium.
Silva might be keen to join the Italian giants, but it is not a secret that he is an important player for Pep Guardiola. The 31-year-old has started every game in the Premier League this season, recording six assists.
