Arsenal do not have a lot of transfer budget ahead of the 2019-20 Premier League season. However, they are keen to complete at least one big move during the upcoming summer and it seems they’ve set their sights in one of the most in-form players in the EPL over the past two years.

According to a report from The Mirror, The Gunners are keen to sign a winger this summer and they have set their sights on none other than Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha. If the move ends up happening, then it would be the second time the 26-year-old Ivory Coast international ends up signing with a Top 6 side.

Let’s remember Zaha already joined Manchester United back in 2013. However, he wasn’t able to adjust to life at Old Trafford and ended returning to Selhurst Park shortly thereafter. But things are different now, and Arsenal are confident that the Ivorian will adjust easily to life at the Emirates.

Arsenal only have around £45m on their transfer budget this summer, but Zaha has been a long-life Arsenal fan so they are hoping that might tip the scales on their favour. The Gunners could even sell one of their best players, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, in order to fund this purchase and add more funds to bolster other areas of the squad.

Zaha finished the 2018-19 Premier League season with 10 goals and 10 assists in 34 league appearances.
