Report: AC Milan Have Enquired About Cristiano Ronaldo

AC Milan have been one of the most active teams in the transfer market this summer.

The Rossoneri acquired several players in an attempt to challenge Juventus’ supremacy in the Serie A, so they went ahead and secured the services of elements such as Ricardo Rodriguez, Leonardo Bonucci, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Andre Silva. But they are not done yet, and apparently have a lot of money left to spend.

Exhibit A: Milan recently enquired Real Madrid about a potential Cristiano Ronaldo transfer. Yes, you read that right. Milan have dreams to add a quality striker, and what better than adding one of the two best players in the world right now?

The enquiry has a bit of sense, though. Ronaldo is reportedly unsettled at Madrid, and even though he has not asked for a transfer, it is believed he is thinking about playing elsewhere sooner than later. He has never played in the Serie A, and there is no doubt Milan are building something good for the future. At least on paper, the move sounds enticing.

It is believed Milan would need around €200 million to sign him, but if we add his wage, then Milan would end up spending around €350M overall.

However, Milan did not get their wish granted because Los Merengues quickly rejected any potential bid for their star player. So the reigning Ballon D’Or winner will remain in Santiago Bernabeu, at least for the foreseeable future.
