Take this with a grain of salt, since there are high chances that this move does not end up happening. But the two clubs are talking, so it’s worth going deep into it. According to several reports in Europe, PSG and Barcelona are reportedly holding talks to finalise Neymar’s return to the Camp Nou.

Barca would have to spend money to sign the Brazilian star, but they would also be keen to include players on the deal and one of the alternatives that interest PSG the most is none other than Ousmane Dembele. The former Dortmund star never really settled in Spain, and he would consider a France return following his stint with Rennes.

There are a lot of hurdles to go through before this deal becomes a reality, though. Neymar would have to end his stint in the 2019 Copa America with Brazil, both clubs would have to decide the transfer fee, and there is a chance Barca adds another player to sweeten the deal. Perhaps Ivan Rakitic, who was a PSG target last summer, could be a good addition to the deal.

Dembele would certainly benefit from a return to France as well. He would probably become a regular starter at PSG from day one, and he would be a decent replacement for Neymar. He’s one of the most exciting young wingers in Europe even if he couldn’t fit at Barcelona very well.

Let’s see if both sides agree to a deal. If it happens, it would be the biggest move of the summer without a doubt.
