One of the players that gets mentioned the most when it comes to transfer rumours is Malcom. The Brazilian winger hasn’t been able to settle properly at Barcelona, and several outlets are already reporting he could play elsewhere in the 2019-20 season.
And while he was quite close to join AS Roma this past summer, there’s a high chance he ends up in the Serie A after all. According to a report from Calciomercato, Inter Milan are reportedly interested in the former Bordeaux star due to this lack of playing time at Barcelona. The Neriazzurri would welcome him with open arms since he could become a substantial upgrade on their attacking line.
It will all depend on Malcom, though. If he wants to stay at Barcelona then there’s no way he will get his wish granted. After, we’re talking about a 22-year-old player who hasn’t even completed his first season at Camp Nou. But at the same time, he’s not someone who would be untouchable in transfer negotiations and reports coming out of Spain have indicated that Barca would be open to let him go for a fee of around €70million.
Malcom has made just eight La Liga appearances so far during the current term. At the very least, Inter could offer him far more playing time if he were to complete his Serie A switch.
