Chelsea Confident Of Agreeing Sandro Fee

Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Alex Sandro, leaving them just to negotiate a fee with Juventus to complete the signing of the Brazilian international, claims Corriere della Sera (via Metro).

The Blues summer has been slow to get going but there are signs that they will complete their business quickly when the international transfer window opens on 1st July.

Reports suggest the signing of Timoue Bakayoko from Monaco is tied up and now the Italian media believes Alex Sandro will be their second signing. The fee for the Juventus left back is expected to be in the region of £61m, giving the Italian champions a profit of around £40m on the fee they paid Porto in 2015.

Sandro has back-to-back Italian league and cup doubles, and was a member of the Juventus side which threatened an upset in the Champions League final earlier this month, before being overwhelmed by Real Madrid.

He returned to the Brazilian national team this year, and is keen to further his chances by proving himself in one of the world’s most physically demanding leagues. With Antonio Conte determined to not only retain the Premier League but also claim his first managerial Champions League, Sandro couldn’t ask for any higher profile.
