PSG are not done in their pursue of Kylian Mbappe, but they are realistic and know the Monaco youngsters has lots of suitors all over Europe. Due to this, the Ligue 1 giants are already working on two backup plans in case they can’t sign the 18-year-old wonderkid.
And they are reportedly keeping a close eye on two star players, as Sergio Aguero and Gareth Bale have sneaked into the club’s transfer list in an effort to improve their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
According to a report from MARCA, Les Parisiens are still among the favourites to sign Mbappe, but their efforts might not be enough considering Real Madrid and Liverpool are already convinced of paying north of €100 million to sign the striker. Due to this, Aguero and Bale have sneaked into the team’s agenda, and in fact the communication between PSG and Aguero has been constant since the Argentinian is not entirely happy with his role in Manchester City.
Bale’s case is quite similar. The injuries and the lack of a star role within Real Madrid would have him considering his options for the future. It is worth noting Los Merengues could be open to an exit, as Marco Asensio and Isco proved they can replace Bale last season.
Despite their problems over the past season, both players are extremely talented, and there is no question both would make PSG an even better team.
