Nicolas Gaitan, 26, has dealt a blow to a host of Premier League teams and indicated he will leave Benfica this summer and join Atletico Madrid in a £25m transfer according to reports in Spain.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked with a move for the play maker, however the Argentinean international has chosen to join Atletico Madrid and ply his trade in La Liga.
Gaitan has been in fantastic form throughout his time in Portugal for Benfica, scoring 25 goals, 46 assists in 152 games.
It is believed Atletico will announce the transfer after the Champions League final on Saturday.
