Paul Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but Juventus shouldn’t be ruled out of the race for the talented France international. And if that’s the case, then The Red Devils could try to steal a player or two from the reigning Serie A champions.
One of the players Manchester United are rumoured to be interested is none other than forward Douglas Costa, although the Brazilian winger is reportedly not keen to complete a switch to Old Trafford. According to a report from The Express, the former Bayern Munich star has said he is happy to stay at the Serie A side amid speculation that he would be moving to Manchester United.
When speaking to the media, the 28-year-old Brazilian winger left his immediate future up in the air when he responded to the subject of playing in the Premier League by saying: “Maybe one day. But I don’t think I will leave now. I have three more years at Juventus. Right now, I do not have any option to get out of Juventus. We have a new coach and I look forward to working with him.”
It seems Costa is indeed not keen to leave Juventus. So Manchester United might have to ask for other players if they end up making business with Juventus… if they decide to part ways with Pogba at all, something that doesn’t look likely at the moment.
