Gianluigi Buffon who played his final game for Juventus at the weekend is set to move to Paris Saint-Germain according to the Daily Mail.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Buffon was substituted in the 64th minute during the 2 – 1 win over Hellas Verona. Former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny took over at the weekend and is expected to be the Juventus Number One next season.

After 656 games for the Bianconeri, the former Italy international is still in demand with some of the biggest clubs in the world taking an interest in his future.

Buffon, once the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, was recently in talks with Boca Juniors but is expected in the French capital this week for talks at the Parc Des Princes.

PSG, the report claims, are willing to offer him a two-year deal, and clearly, believe he has a playing future. Juventus had offered him a coaching role, but Buffon isn’t quite ready to hang up his gloves just yet.

His former club Parma returned to Serie A at the weekend and made an offer for him to ‘come home’, while West Ham also looked to the veteran to solve their goalkeeping problems.
