Edinson Cavani has been linked with several clubs since the start of the new season, as the Uruguayan has entered the final year of his contract. Cavani’s deal with Paris Saint-Germain is set to expire on 30 June 2020 and considering his age, he will most probably not stay at the club.
But now it looks like we know one of the teams he will not be joining. According to L’Equipe, that is Inter Miami, Major League Soccer’s latest franchise that is set to start competing in March 2020. The club owned by David Beckham was mentioned with several big names in recent months, including David Silva, but many media outlets have seen Cavani as the prime candidate to become the face of their franchise.
However, he is not interested in the move. Cavani has been part of PSG setup since 2013, when he arrived from Napoli, but right now it does not look like he will swap Ligue 1 with MLS.
