One of the hottest transfer rumours this summer will be where Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will end up.
The Lazio midfielder has emerged as one of the best box-to-box midfielder in the world over the past 18 months, and is now representing Serbia in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The 23-year-old has been subject of a lot of speculation, but there is one team that is ready to give it all in their pursuit of Milinkovic-Savic.
We are talking about reigning Serie A champions, Juventus. Even though the Bianconeri probably have one of the most impressive midfield corps in the world, they are decided to do “everything they can” to make a move for the Serbian star.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic already has many of Europe’s top clubs on alert but it seems as if the Serie A title holders Juventus are unwilling to throw a towel in a fight against the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona. The Italian side remains favourite, to the point that his own father is trying to push a move so his son can remain in Italy.
Juventus have even tried to add Marko Pjaca into a potential deal to decrease the €100 million valuation of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. While the move might or might not work, it is clear that Juventus are just not going to give up in their pursuit of the talented playmaker.
