Days go by and we still have not had any sort of real activity on a potential transfer of Alex Sandro, who remains a Juventus player. However, that could change in the near future since the interest for the former FC Porto star is heating up.
According to Tuttosport, three European giants (Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea) remain quite active on the race to sign Alex Sandro, and are all interested in securing the signature of the 27-year-old defender. He is considered one of the most rounded full-backs in today’s European scheme, so there is not a lot of surprise is seeing top sides trying to lure him away from the reigning Serie A champions.
It remains to be seen where Alex Sandro will land, though. PSG would represent the easier route since he would not have a lot of competition for the starting role and the team usually cruises their way through the Ligue 1, but the Premier League would be a whole different thing. Plus, he would have to battle with Marcos Alonso for the starting role at Chelsea, while Manchester United already have Ashley Young and Luke Shaw for the LB role.
Juventus remain open to part ways with the defender, but only for a reasonable prize. So right now, it seems it will be a thing of who decides to spend the most to end up signing him.
