Argentinian forward Gonzalo Higuain has emerged as the top transfer target at Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho has talked up his chances of becoming the next Old Trafford boss, and given instructions to the United hierarchy that Higuain is the man to spearhead the clubs new look attack.
One potential stumbling block is Napoli’s £90m valuation. The Argentine hitman has been in fine form scoring 32 goals this season, and the club are reluctant to sell.
However with Higuain only having 2 years left on his current contract, it is expected Napoli would drop their asking price.
