Real Madrid are always active in the market looking for new players to bolster their current squad. And the club’s manager, Zinedine Zidane, has apparently identified the team’s new Galactico signing going forward.

According to a report from The Sun, Zidane is quite impressed with the form of Mohamed Salah at the moment, and would be pondering the chances of making a move for the coveted Egypt international and Liverpool winger. He could try to bring the former Basel star to Santiago Bernabeu as soon as next summer.

In fact, Zidane was reportedly praising the player and is quite interested in the 25-year-old, who has been one of the most prolific forwards in Europe during the current term.

“Salah is a great player. He showed that at Roma, now at Liverpool,” the report quotes Zidane as saying. “He’s still young and is improving all the time. I don’t talk much about other players, but he is a player I rate a lot.”

Salah has been in fine form since moving to Anfield in the summer and leads the Premier League goal-scoring chart with 13 strikes so far, catching Zidane’s eye in the process. But The Reds are not expected to part ways with their best player right now, so Los Blancos would likely have to offer a substantial amount of money if they want to acquire the services of the 25-year-old.
