Juventus are reportedly leading the race to sign one of the most coveted players in the Serie A.
Despite the fact The Old Lady own one of the most impressive attacking units in the Serie A – led by Cristiano Ronaldo but also accompanied with fellow stars Paulo Dybala, Douglas Costa, Mario Mandzukic and Juan Cuadrado – they always have one eye on the market. And now the reigning league champions are interested in making a move for Genoa’s Krzysztof Piątek.
Dubbed as “the new Robert Lewandowski” thanks to his impressive scoring ability and overall talent, few have doubts on the fact that he has a bright future. But his season, the 23-year-old has taken his play to a whole new level since he has scored 15 goals in his last 11 appearances for club and country.
This impressive run of form has allowed other teams to take notice. Barcelona have been linked with a move for him since they view the Polish as the perfect replacement for Luis Suarez, but other sides such as Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Napoli have also set their sights on the current Genoa marksman.
Genoa reportedly value Piatek at €60 million, although they might let him go for less if the player expressed desire of leaving. Nonetheless, that would be quite a business since the striker recently joined from Cracovia only a few months ago.
