Arsenal Planning January Swoop For Juan Cuadrado

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger knows he might lose two of his best players for the upcoming. Therefore, the French tactician will try to add reinforcements during the January transfer window. And there is one identified target already.

According to a report from The Express, Wenger is reportedly interested in Juan Cuadrado, and would like to add the Colombian winger once the January transfer window opens next year. The Juventus winger jumped above Thomas Lemar in the manager’s wishlist and would be the team’s first option now.

Lemar was discarded as a signing due to the fact Monaco are reluctant to sell the French international.

It is worth noting that Cuadrado already knows what is like to play in the English Premier League since he had a brief – and unsuccessful – stint with Chelsea back in the day. But he failed to adjust to the pace of the game, and has spent the last few seasons thriving for The Old Lady, where he is an important piece of the team’s attacking line next to Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.

Cuadrado recently signed a new deal that will keep him at Juventus until 2020, but Wenger is determined to convince him to take another shot at playing in the Premier League. Now everything will depend on how quickly the negotiations progress.
