According to AS, Valencia want to sign Andreas Pereira in a permanent deal this summer.
The Brazilian midfielder is on loan from Manchester United for this season and his performances impressed the Mestalla hierarchy to the extent that the club has already held talks with the 22-year-old’s agent Kia Joorabchian over a deal.
Born in Belgium, Pereira moved to United in 2012 from PSV Eindhoven but made just 13 appearances – scoring once in a 3 – 0 League Cup win over Ipswich Town – in four seasons with the club.
He moved to Granada on loan in August 2016, scoring in the 2 – 1 derby win over Sevilla. Pereira made 37 appearances and scored a further four goals, impressing Los Che along the way.
So far, the Brazil Under-20 has featured 25 times for Valencia this season and is understood to be keen on remaining in eastern Spain. With international football a priority for the midfielder, regular first-team football is a key demand for the Brazilian.
With Valencia returning to the Champions League, Pereira is understood to believe his prospects are better in La Liga than at Old Trafford.
