By now, everybody should know how poor things have gone for Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian hasn’t been able to settle at the Camp Nou, and it’s clear that he’s not going to remain with the club for much longer if things do not change soon.
The former Liverpool star isn’t getting enough playing time, the fans do not support him anymore and, when the Brazil international has had the chance to play, he’s been underwhelming at best. Therefore, he’s looking for an exit and according to recent reports, he would be open to a Manchester United move.
In fact, Coutinho has reportedly issued a “come and get me” plea to The Red Devils, in an attempt to end his Camp Nou nightmare. Things have gotten so bad that Coutinho reportedly told his inner circle that he’s still struggling to settle in the Catalan capital, even when he joined the club over a year ago.
The 26-year-old hasn’t looked like the same dominant playmaker he was during his Liverpool days, and he is pushing for an Old Trafford switch. It is believed that United would need £100m to secure the playmaker’s signature, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side would likely compete with PSG for the services of the Brazil star.
Undoubtedly, this is one rumour worth watching. But it definitively seems as if Coutinho won’t remain with Los Blaugranas for much longer.
