Based on recent reports, the Swedish forward and Manchester United are reportedly in talks over a return from the former Milan and PSG star to Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic left a good impression in his lone season at United, but suffered a gruesome injury in April during the UEFA Europa League so he might not be able to return until November at the earliest. However, the 35-year-old has continued his rehabilitation at the club’s complex in Carrington.
Latest news from Italy have indicated that United are stepping their efforts for the striker who netted 28 goals in 46 appearances across all competitions for The Red Devils before injury struck. And even though the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, said there are several offers for his client, Zlatan would be keen to return to United as well.
AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Los Angeles Galaxy have all been linked with a move for Ibrahimovic, but considering the player’s preferences, don’t be surprised if he ends up returning to Old Trafford only a few months after he left. At the very least, the possibility is now real.
