PSG might endure several changes during the upcoming summer transfer window, and one of the positions that might see an upgrade is the left-back role. Layvin Kurzawa has not playing according to the expectations and Yuri Berchiche is not the world-class player the team needs.

Therefore, Les Parisiens are keen to make a move during the upcoming transfer window. French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Paris Saint-Germain have identified two players as potential replacements for Layvin Kurzawa: Alex Sandro and Ryan Sessegnon.

The Juventus left-back is the team’s top priority, but there are a few roadblocks that could complicate a potential transfer. Aside from the fact that the Brazilian is quite expensive, he is also being followed by other top European sides. And as if that wasn’t enough, PSG have not given any indication that they would be keen to part ways with the Brazil international.

Another alternative is Fulham’s wonderkid Sessegnon, whom many experts see as a potential world-class player and one that can become one of the best left-backs in the world sooner than later. He would be cheaper than Alex Sandro, but most of the Premier League giants have already enquired about him and there is no clarity on whether he would accept a move to France or not.

Sessegnon has certainly looked promising this season, bagging 14 goals in the current term.
