Jese’s tenure in the English Premier League is about to come to an end far sooner than what everyone would have expected.

The former Real Madrid winger has had moments of brilliance playing for Stoke City this season, but he is going through some rough moments in his personal life and is reportedly seeking a return to Spain in order to be with his premature son, Nyan. Therefore, the Spaniard is about to leave The Potters soon.

According to several reports, the talented – yet inconsistent – winger is about to seal a move to Las Palmas. Jese’s rights are own by PSG and is currently on loan at Stoke, but the Ligue 1 giants have the right to recall him and send him to another club if they want to. It seems that will be the case here.

Jese has only featured nine times during the current Premier League campaign for Stoke, and has registered one goal and one assist thus far. There is no question he is good enough to make a name for himself at the EPL level, but some things are just bigger than football. And it seems both PSG and Stoke understand that right now Jese needs to be in Spain.

The Potters will miss him. But La Liga will certainly welcome him with open arms.
