Thorgan Hazard could be on his way to the English Premier League. However, he might not join Chelsea to play alongside his older brother, Eden Hazard, as it was predicted in the past.
With several reports indicating that Riyad Mahrez could be on his way out of Leicester City to join either Arsenal or Manchester City, the Foxes are already looking at potential replacements for the Algerian international. And one names that has been discussed is the one of the Belgian player who currently features for Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga.
According to several reports in Germany, the former Chelsea midfielder, who can operate on the left or centrally, “is high on Leicester’s list.” And even though Chelsea have the primary option to sign him in case he ever leaves the Bundesliga, the Blues are not particularly interested in signing him, and have looked at other alternatives instead.
Hazard plays in the Bundesliga since 2015, and is having an excellent season with Borussia this season thanks to seven goals and four assists in 21 appearances during the current campaign. He also plays for the Belgian national team, and he shouldn’t have problems to make The Red Devils’ squad ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
