Despite the fact AC Milan have not been as good as many projected them to be, several of their players have been gaining interest in the transfer market and could be in the move sooner than later. Chelsea’s interest for Suso is widely known, but another player has been grabbing headlines in the rumour mill as well.
We’re talking about central midfielder Franck Kessie. The former Atalanta star is living his second year with the San Siro outfit, and has looked extremely impressive due to his box-to-box playing style and his physical traits. He seems tailor-made for the intensity of the Premier League, and it is believed that Wolverhampton have already made an offer for him.
However, the Wolves are not the only tracking him since recent reports have indicated that Atletico Madrid are also taking a long, hard look at the 21-year-old Ivorian international. No offer has been submitted by the Spanish giants, though, so there is a chance this could only go down as a rumour.
The Wolves, meanwhile, are a bit more serious in their approach and have already submitted an offer for the talented playmaker, but Milan rejected it.
Kessie joined Milan in the summer of 2017 on a two-year loan deal, but he will make the move to the San Siro outfit on a permanent basis in the summer of 2019. He already has two goals and one assist for Milan in 10 Serie A matches this term.
