Manchester United are expected to be heavy players during the summer transfer window. Regardless of what happens with The Red Devils after the end of the 2018-19 season, the Old Trafford side will likely try to add first-class players to bolster the squad.
One of the names that has been linked with a move to England is none other than an England international such as Jadon Sancho. The 18-year-old winger, who’s widely considered to be one of the brightest talents in the world, has been thriving in the Bundesliga playing for Dortmund, but The Red Devils are open to make a move for him.
It is believed that Dortmund want “at least” £100 million for the winger, who used to be a Manchester City academy prospect before departing to Germany. Despite the elevated price tag, United remain open to bring the winger back to England. He is certainly worth it – in his first full season at Dortmund, Sancho already has nine goals and 14 assists in 31 games.
However, Manchester United won’t be alone on Sancho’s pursuit since Paris Saint-Germain are also keen to make a move for the Englishman. However, with a contract until 2022 and only having signed Sancho for £10m in 2017, the Bundesliga title hopefuls will be desperate to keep hold of their rising star a while longer. Certainly, money will talk here.
