Valencia have been one of the biggest surprises in La Liga this season. Los Che sit second in the standings behind FC Barcelona, but above teams such as Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal, just to name a few. And of their best players has been Goncalo Guedes.

The Portuguese talent, who is on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain, has caught up the eye of several experts and scouts due to his impressive displays in La Liga. But even though he is tipped to return to PSG next season, the player himself is unsure whether or not he has a future with the Ligue 1 giants.

“It is always good that top teams show an interest in my work although I do not know anything about my future,” Guedes said. “I do not know what is going to happen [next season] but I would like to remain at Valencia. I am very happy here and I have been treated very well,” he said.

The 20-year-old has been tipped as a potential Ballon D’Or Winner in the future if he can keep his impressive form for an extended period of time. But it’s hard to imagine him at PSG any time soon. The current Ligue 1 leaders already have Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Edinson Cavani, Julian Draxler, Angel Di Maria, Lucas Moura and Hatem Ben Arfa on thje current squad.

However, considering his current form and considering there is no clarity on the future of players such as Di Maria, Ben Arfa or Lucas, maybe PSG just want Guedes to gain as much experience as possible so he can settle nicely at PSG after the World Cup.

The Portugal international joined Valencia late in the summer transfer window and the former Benfica man has been an absolute star in Mestalla, registering three goals and five assists in six Liga starts thus far.
