Manchester United are keen to make quite a splash in the transfer market this upcoming summer and, according to a report from The Express, The Red Devils have already set their sights on two players. And both come from Portuguese club Benfica.

The aforementioned report indicated that the two names that currently sit at top of The Red Devils’ shortlist are Joao Felix and Ruben Dias. The former isn’t surprising since he’s been linked with an Old Trafford switch for quite a while, but the latter wasn’t in many plans until recently.

Joao Felix will undoubtedly bolster the attacking depth and he’s been touted to become the next Cristiano Ronaldo. He can operate on both flanks, but has been playing as a right winger of late and has been looked impressive. Meanwhile, Ruben Dias could be the defensive addition The Red Devils have been needing for quite a while.

Portuguese paper Record reported that United might need around £154 million to prise the duo away from Benfica. However, they’re alone on the race to sign them since Juventus are reportedly interested in both players as well.

Felix has scored eight goals and made four assists in 15 games, while Dias has been one of the stars of the Primera Liga this season.
