Cavani Could Make A Napoli Return

Edinson Cavani has been the subject of many transfer rumours ever since the season started. The reason for that is quite obvious – his contract with Paris Saint-Germain is set to expire in the summer of 2020 and it looks like the champions of France will not offer him a new deal.

That makes it easier for others to sign him as a free agent next summer or to even negotiate with the player for a pre-contract in early 2020. But after numerous Major League Soccer moves being proposed, now it looks like Napoli are set to try and sign the Uruguayan goal-scorer.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is keen on bringing Cavani back to the club, according to Italian outlet Il Mattino. The 32-year-old left the club in 2013, after scoring 104 goals in 138 games in all competitions. He has done well in France, but now he might have another go at Serie A, with Napoli relishing the return of old days.
